An SDE Summer

Join us at Blue Bridge ALC this summer for a dynamic, youth-directed summer camp experience!

Our mixed-age camps are for children ages 5-12. These camps give kids experience in self-directed learning. Youth and facilitators will co-create adventures and projects each week based on individual and common interests of the group.

The children get to design their own camp experience!

Activities could include: field trips, park visits, walking to downtown Alger Heights, sewing, STEM, cooking, water play, sensory activities, painting, martial arts, music, board games, and more!

This is a screen-free camp experience led by certified teachers and professional learning facilitators.

We have seven weeks of 3-day camps running from June to August. All camps will meet at our 28th St SE location, unless a field trip or park day is planned.
