I’m Candis, the Founder and Director of Blue Bridge School. My mission is to bridge the gap between traditional educational structures and the individualized, nature-focused learning environments that modern families crave. I believe that school should be a sanctuary for curiosity, a place where academics and emotional safety coexist.

With over 15 years of experience in educational leadership, my career has been dedicated to understanding exactly how children learn and how systems can best support them. Prior to founding Blue Bridge, I served as a Dean of Instruction, where I led building-wide school improvement initiatives and coached educators in evidence-based practices.

My professional credentials reflect a deep commitment to mastery in the field of education:

• Master of Education (M.Ed.): Elementary Education & Reading Specialist.

• Education Specialist (Ed.S.): Currently pursuing advanced degree in General Education Administration at Central Michigan University.

• Specialized Endorsements: K-12 Reading Specialist (BR) and K-12 English as a Second Language (NS).
